Before asking what to pack, ask what the days will involve. This Mundo a Passeio journey combines road travel, Spiritist visits, different accommodation stops and time to rest. A clear picture of that rhythm is more useful than another “just in case” outfit. Suitcases rarely complain about having fewer of those.
The 10 to 18 November 2026 sleeper-coach departure leaves Porto Alegre. It visits Sacramento, Conquista and Uberaba in Minas Gerais, then stays for two nights in Caldas Novas, Goiás: nine days including the journey out and back.
Match your interests to the actual stops
In Sacramento, Colégio Allan Kardec introduces educator Eurípedes Barsanulfo’s history; the municipality describes it as a museum, memorial and prayer centre. The programme also lists Alzira Amui and Gruta dos Palhares. The cave’s interior needs special permission, so a park visit should not be mistaken for unrestricted cave exploration.
Conquista has Spiritist activities. Uberaba includes separate places connected with Chico Xavier, among them Casa da Sopa, Casa de Memórias and the Memorial. You can travel through personal faith or simply to understand what matters to someone close to you. Neither requires everyone in the group to have the same experience. Religious activities do not guarantee healing or individual attention.
At the Colégio, ask how an educational project became part of the town’s story. At Gruta dos Palhares, the municipality identifies Botucatu Sandstone: a different subject within the same destination. Looking at the rock face and park setting gives that stop its own purpose, rather than expecting a landscape visit to tell the same story as a school.
Pack for the moments between hotels
Keep coach essentials apart from the main suitcase: your document, a light extra layer and personal items for the journey should be easy to reach. Packing by use saves dismantling everything because one small item has settled at the very bottom.
Discuss room sharing before paying. Being good travel companions does not automatically mean keeping the same bedtime. If steps, walking distances or early starts affect your plans, explain the specific need to Ana Carla. A precise question about a stop is more helpful than asking whether the whole journey is “easy”. Confirm language support too; this page does not promise an English-speaking guide.
Budget for two meal arrangements
The advertised starting price is BRL 3,390 per person, including sleeper-coach travel, a guide and travel agent throughout, and breakfast at the Minas accommodation. Lunches and dinners in Minas and personal spending are additional. Set money aside for these before allocating the souvenir budget.
Caldas Novas means two nights at Hotel Morada das Águas, with hotel meals listed. Request the actual meals, drinks and service times covered. Crossing into Goiás does not turn every personal purchase into a package inclusion.
Turn the booking chat into a useful plan
Tell Ana Carla the group size, preferred room arrangements and visits that matter to you. Ask for the current itinerary, boarding point, availability, price and payment terms in writing. The November departure overview gives the route’s practical framework. Once that is clear, the journey can be about the places rather than ongoing luggage negotiations.
